Product Overview

Mn13 high manganese steel (also known as Hadfield steel) is a classic wear-resistant material that follows the GB/T 5680-2010 standard. Its most remarkable feature is that when subjected to strong impact or extrusion, the surface will harden rapidly (work-hardening effect), and the hardness can be greatly increased to more than HBW 500, while the heart still maintains excellent toughness. It is an irreplaceable special steel for high impact and high stress wear conditions.

   Unique work-hardening properties: "The more impact, the harder", especially suitable for wear conditions with severe impact.

   Unrivalled toughness: one of the highest of all wear-resistant materials, never brittle fracture.

   Non-magnetic: suitable for special environments where non-magnetic properties are required.

   King of impact wear resistance: under impact loads, its wear resistance far exceeds that of other steels with the same static hardness.

   Jaw crusher plates, cone mill walls, crushing walls in mining and metallurgical industries.

   Railway turnouts, tank track plates.

   Excavator bucket tooth tip, bucket liner under strong impact conditions.

   Ball mill liner.
